As Hosseini Kia, Vice Chairman of the Parliament’s Industries and Mines Commission, emphasized in an interview, this event can act as a catalyst for the transformation and growth of the country’s mining industry and contribute significantly to the realization of the goals of the resistance economy.

In this conversation, Hosseini Kia emphasized the huge potential of the mining sector and stated: Mining has the potential to be an economic driver, a reliable alternative to oil in the country's economic portfolio. Today, we see that only one mine is able to create direct and indirect employment for about 28,000 people. These statistics indicate that the country's mines can not only generate significant foreign exchange, but also play an important role in creating sustainable employment and developing deprived areas.

He continued by emphasizing the potential capacities of the country's mines and stated: Unfortunately, many of the country's mines have not yet reached their true capacity. This is while, by utilizing new technologies, more accurate explorations, and appropriate investments, we can witness a jump in production in this sector. Activating these huge capacities can not only help create sustainable employment for millions of our compatriots, but can also play an effective role in reducing budget imbalances.

The 12th parliamentarian also said: "To achieve this goal, we need a comprehensive and long-term plan that takes into account all aspects of the mining industry."

Pointing to the importance of holding exhibition events in the mining sector, Hosseinikia referred to the 18th International Mining Exhibition (Conmine) and said: Holding exhibitions such as Conmine is a valuable opportunity to introduce the capabilities and capacities of the country's mining industry to domestic and foreign activists. These events not only showcase the latest scientific and technological achievements in the mining sector, but also provide a suitable platform for establishing business connections and investing in this sector.
